Contest details

Since its creation, MEDELPHARM has chosen to put relationships with universities at the heart of its strategic partnerships all over the world. We are committed to providing access to the latest technology and our expertise not only for scientific advances, but also for the education of the next generation of scientists. To further this commitment, we invite promising academic scientists to bring forward their most innovative ideas for the chance to develop their projects with the support of our cutting-edge technology, the STYL’One Nano Compaction Simulator.

Prizes

  • First prize: STYL’One Nano on free loan for 2 years
  • Second prize: Access to KORSCH/MEDELPHARM Global Network of INNOVATION CENTER services for a week to run your experiments using our state of the art equipment and benefit from our expertise
  • Third prize: Entrance ticket to international scientific conference AAPS or seminar Tabletting School at De Montfort University

This contest is open to all universities involved with powder compression. All applications will be considered including pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, personal & home care, food, and industrial.

Application deadline: April 20th, 2025

Steps of the selection:

The MEDELPHARM committee will review all projects and make a first selection. The selected universities will then defend their project with a 15-minute online presentation to the committee before a final selection of the three winning universities. Pictures and names of the selected universities and candidates will be featured on KORSCH, MEDELPHARM, and partner communication channels to promote the contest throughout its duration.
