Temperature rise is a common phenomenon occurring during powder compression and can affect tablet quality with an increased risk for tablet sticking and picking. Temperature can have an impact on both physical and chemical properties of tablets. The evaluation of the temperature influence on the powder compression behavior and final tablet quality attributes is key for a successful tablet development. New or existing STYL'One Evo Compaction Simulators can be featured with a heated die holder to evaluate how formulations react to temperature rise.
