Take-off Force Sensor

Remove from favorites
Add to favorites

The take-off force, also known as detachment force or scrape-off force, is the force needed to detach the tablet from the lower punch tip at ejection. Like ejection stress, take-off force is influenced by blend lubrication, with high values indicating poor lubrication of the formulation and increased risk of tablet defects such as sticking, picking or damaged belly band. New or existing STYL'One Evo Compaction Simulators can be featured with a strain gage sensor positioned on the linear ejection system to accurately measure this detachment force.
