The utilization of modified starch products as tablet excipients is on the rise, owing to their multifunctional properties, broad regulatory acceptance, and ready availability. This study aimed to explore the compression behavior of a co-processed mixture comprising corn starch and pregelatinized starch (StarCap 1500®, co-processed starch excipient) under simulated conditions resembling rotary tablet press production.
